For our London-based project in the heart of Belgravia, we’re transforming a penthouse into a sophisticated blend of classical elegance and contemporary design. The goal is to marry traditional architectural elements with modern, organic furniture shapes to create a timeless yet forward-looking space.
The interior architecture will feature intricate moldings that evoke the distinguished style of Haussmannian architecture, adding structure and classical charm to the walls. Complementing these, we’ll introduce panoramic wallpapers rich in texture and relief, adding depth and visual interest.
To balance the classical elements, the furniture selection will focus on organic, modern shapes inspired by iconic 20th-century designer Pierre Paulin. The use of premium materials like travertine, brass, and marble will further enhance the space’s earthy and refined atmosphere.
Lighting will play a crucial role in the design, with carefully selected pieces that introduce warmth and a touch of artistry, highlighted by subtle gold accents.
We will regularly update this page with insights into the design process and the ongoing evolution of this project.
